Overview

P3O® provides a universally applicable guidance that combines a set of principles, processes and techniques that facilitate effective portfolio, programme and project management through enablement, challenge and support structures. The PRINCE2 Project, Programme, Portfolio Office Management guidance is aligned to PRINCE2 Project Management, PRINCE2 Programme Management and PRINCE2 Risk Management..

Why P3O?

Many organisations have PMO activity, but not always a coherent PMO operating model.

P3O® provides an integrated approach to setting direction, defining services, establishing governance, and embedding a PMO capability that scales.

  • Clarify what your PMO does (services, value, and boundaries)
  • Strengthen governance, reporting, and decision-making
  • Standardise delivery controls without slowing teams down
  • Build an operating model that scales with demand
  • Outcome-driven: you leave with practical PMO artefacts, templates, and implementation guidance.
